Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke and Bookish. Each week the bloggers at The Broke and The Bookish put out a topic, and discuss their top ten options for said topic. This week it’s all about the characters you’d like to have with you on a desert island.

Numair Salmalín of the Immortals series by Tamora Pierce. I think it would be great to be stuck on a desert island with one of the world’s most powerful mages. Plus he’s so scientifically oriented that it would be a lot of fun exploring the island with him.

Aragorn of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy series by Tolkien. Aragorn is a hunter, and is skilled at living off of the land. And to be perfectly honest, I’m not so someone like him is essential to survival.

Lynn from Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnis. Lynn is another person who is extremely versed in living off of the land, especially in dire situations. Having her around would ensure that supplies would be conserved and we’d be able to live for quite a while.

Badou of the Dogs: Bullets and Carnage series by Shirow Miwa. Frankly because he’s crazy, and I love me some crazy. In all actuality he would be good to have around if the deserted island wasn’t really deserted but in fact a secret villain base.

Frau of the O7 Ghost series by Yuki Amemiya. Because he’s pretty. >.> And a badass, but really just pretty.

Sanzo, Hakkai, Gojyo, Goku and Jeep from the Saiyuki universe. For entertainment because they’re a bunch of bickering idiots, because they’re pretty, badasses– and Jeep’s a dragon. Frankly I think it would turn out catastrophically beautiful.

That’s my Top Ten Tuesday–not quite ten, but frankly I don’t think I’d last very long on the island to begin with. I’ve got a group of personalities and it would just go up in a horrific boom. If you’ve done a Top Ten Tuesday post go ahead and link it in the comments.
